Raw: life lately

News flash: Work has been draining me, hence, the inactiveness of this blog. I am really sorry.

I want to write about so many things already but since work happened, I go home late almost every day and I just can’t find the energy to write it out anymore. I barely even have the energy to make my dinner and lunch for tomorrow’s work; I’m just really trying to exert some because who else is gonna cook for me? Who else is going to do my laundry or buy groceries?

No one.

Yes, I live with my Aunt but she’s also working and her work’s more tiring than mine. She leaves really early and goes home more late than I do, so again.. No one.

I’m still learning how to balance my work and personal/social life, as well, so please bear with me and hang in there. I have drafts pending and I promise to make it up to you (as if you’re waiting for my post hehe). To my friends reading, sorry I answer your messages a day or days after. Please understand I’ve just been really busy but you know me – it might take long for me to reply but I will reply.

Oh, and last one. I don’t even know why my blog still receives follow notifications from beautiful people like you when it’s in its inactive phase. I don’t deserve you, guys. Thank you.

Please don’t think I’ve been abducted by unicorns β€” I’m not. But thinking about it, getting abducted by unicorns would totally be better than work draining my energy and poor soul. I have soooo many stories that I’ve been dying to share and I can’t wait to spill it all out to you soon. Have a great week ahead!

Love, Amielle

PS: Ending this post with photos of my view every lunch break. Beautiful, isn’t it?

  1. You must put you first and make sure you are in one piece. Life, be it work or emotion has a habit of getting in the way of our best intentions. Like you, I have been absent for a while (nearly 2 months in fact) and it is just this week that I am beginning to see a way of fitting my blog back into life. Yours will come back but in your own time and in the meantime, take heart from the fact that you are missed and will be welcomed warmly when the time is right. Xx

  2. Girll, I’ve only just come off of 5-day-a-week and after a year and a half of it I STILL struggled to manage my time properly. I feel you; energy is such a struggle and then you feel demotivated to do anything. But your blog community are all still here; we all support you! Take all the time you need to take care of yourself :) xxx

  6. Akala ko ako lang yung inactive sa blogosphere .. :D Nasa harap na nga ng computer yung work pero restricted naman. :( Anyway, I hope you are enjoying your work even if it is draining, because when you love what you do, di mo na minsan maiisip na it’s work. :)
